Things To Do

In the Summer you can take the Holy Isle Ferry across to the Holy Isle, a retreat for many and home to Buddhist monks. We recommend walking along stretches of the Arran Coastal Way, a 65 mile/105-kilometre route around the Isle of Arran, if you’d like to take in the gorgeous scenery and views of our Island.

Or, if you prefer to be in civilisation, the village of Lamlash boasts a golf club, tennis court and sailing club, along with quirky gift shops and a good selection of pubs and bars. We also have great coastal fishing spots and would recommend visiting the Coast Seabed Trust visitor centre, a community-led organisation that conserves and restores the seas around Arran.
